About the Role:
As a Village Maintenance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our University Pines village. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing systems, fixing electrical faults, and maintaining heating and cooling systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the village, including the common areas and facilities. Your work will directly impact the quality of life of our residents, and you will be an integral part of our team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in a related field, such as HVAC or plumbing
- Experience working in a residential or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Experience with landscaping and groundskeeping
