Job Summary?


The Warranty Operations Leader oversees the strategic direction and management of the Residential HVAC warranty organization. This position entails developing and executing innovative strategies to improve customer and associate experience, optimize warranty performance, and achieve operational efficiency while delivering business results. Additionally, this role will lead warranty administration, analytics and performance and the leader will possess exceptional leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of warranty management, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence.

What you will do:



  • Develop and implement the strategic vision, focusing on transformative initiatives that leverage advanced technologies and data-driven insights to optimize processes, enhance customer experience, and align with long-term business objectives.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warranty operations. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance performance.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience in warranty operations by streamlining processes, incorporating Voice of the Customer (VOC) feedback, and leveraging innovative solutions. This approach aims to enable growth initiatives and foster long-term customer loyalty.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the warranty operations team. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.

  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships to ensure that sales, marketing, product management, quality, engineering, and customer service teams are fully integrated into the warranty process. This promotes a unified approach to addressing customer needs and enhancing the overall experience.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies. Identify and mitigate risks associated with warranty operations. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and audit teams to maintain transparent governance and mitigate potential exposures.

  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. Drive initiatives to enhance warranty processes and systems.

  • Leverage technology and software solutions to streamline warranty processes. Stay informed about new technologies that can enhance warranty operations.

  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of warranty data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Partner with Finance on warranty accrual, expense, and reserve management.


What you will bring:



  • Bachelors degree in management, business administration, finance or related field.

  • 7+ experience in warranty, customer service/experience, product management operations, quality or related profession.

  • Proficiency in Oracle R12, P21, Tavant WMS, SIL, Claim Part Table preferred

  • HVAC Equipment and Supply product knowledge preferred.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • Strong understanding of warranty operations, governance, and process improvement methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, efficiently resolving complex issues and translating data insights into actionable strategies.

  • Exceptional leadership in cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, influencing stakeholders, and promoting a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams to exceed goals, managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and driving high performance.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of warranty lifecycle, processes, policies, and best practices, with proficiency in relevant software and tools focused on automation and process optimization.

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale technology projects, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously, and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement long-term strategies aligned with company goals.

  • Proficient in identifying growth and improvement opportunities within warranty operations and generating actionable insights using data analysis tools and techniques.

  • Strong customer-centric approach, enhancing customer experience and resolving issues efficiently.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effectively presenting complex information and engaging diverse audiences.

  • Strong project management skills, managing multiple projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.

  • Familiarity with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics.

  • Ability to develop and manage budgets, analyze financial data, and implement cost-control measures.

  • Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic environments and changing business needs, with a commitment to staying updated on the latest developments in warranty operations.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.


Compensation:???


Base Pay Range: The total target compensation ranges from $120,000 to $180,000, which includes both base salary and incentives. Compensation will be determined based on experience.


Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
