Position Description

QuesTec is a leading mechanical contracting firm in the State of Missouri and surrounding areas. Our team is driven by innovative technology, efficient processes, and department collaboration in every project we undertake. We are seeking an Industrial Millwright with expertise in commercial plumbing systems to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• • Install, assemble and disassemble machinery and equipment according to blueprints and technical specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure optimal functionality
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues in industrial machinery
  • Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools
  • Align and calibrate machinery to meet operating requirements
  • Weld and fabricate machine components as needed
  • Collaborate with other maintenance and production teams to address equipment-related challenges
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to preventive maintenance scheduled
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and parts inventory
  • Stay updated with advancements in industrial technology and machinery

Requirements:

• • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Millwright or industrial maintenance mechanic
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and welding
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to physically handle and have the dexterity to handle heavy machinery and equipment
  • Teamwork and communication skills for collaboration with other maintenance and production staff
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in an industrial setting
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in performing maintenance tasks
  • Be open to continuous learning and adaptability to new technologies and equipment in the industrial sector
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel to all Industrial job sites

Position Requirements

Preferred requirements:

• • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card
  • Certified welder preferred
  • Plumbing license preferred
  • Confined Space Entry certification preferred
  • Rigging & Hoisting certification preferred
