1st Shift Truss Assembler

SNELLING is currently seeking candidates for a Truss Assembler/Carpenter position on first shift. Hours are 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The pay rate for this position is $20/hour depending on experience. This Truss Assembler/Carpenter position will be temp-to-hire, meaning that SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and SNELLING would be your employer for a probationary period upon an offer being accepted. The ideal candidate for the Truss Assembler/Carpenter position will have experience in carpentry, framing, and/or construction of building material components such as floor or roof trusses. Qualifications for the Truss Assembler/Carpenter:

• Minimum of 2 years construction experience in framing, carpentry or a similar position
• Must be able to read and interpret a tape measure
• Must have steady work tenure
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have the ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach for long periods of time in a non-climate controlled environment
• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment is a plus
• Steel-toed boots are required for this role
