Join Our Dynamic Team as a Cath Lab Tech Job Description: - Position: Cath Lab Tech - Travel Experience Required: Yes - Profession: Radiology / Cardiology - Specialty: Cath Lab Tech - Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00) - Block Schedules: No - Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year, preferably 2 years - Charting System: Epic (required) Certifications: *Preferred:* - ACLS - ARRT R - BLS - CCI RCES - CCI RCIS Skills: *Preferred:* - Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab - Interventional Cardiac Cath lab - ASD Closures - Cardiac Implant Closure Device - Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult - IABP Placement/Removal - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Laser-assisted procedure - Left heart catheterization - Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) - Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) - Right heart catheterization - Rotablader athrectomy - Scrub Procedures - Electrophysiology Studies - Cardiac Ablation - Cardiac Mapping - Cardioversion - Pacemaker Insertion - Tilt Table Study - Vascular Studies/Procedures - Carotid Stenting - Endovascular Interventions Procedural Responsibilities: - Equipment set up - Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias - Room circulator - Scrub - maintain sterile field - Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose) - Infection Control - Isolation Precautions/PPE - Sterile Technique - Age Specific Competency (Middle Adult, Older Adult) Schedule Details: - Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM and every 4th weekend - Call: Rotated approximately every 4th weekday and every 4th weekend; includes up to 6 hours of work on Saturdays for scheduled inpatient procedures.
