A company is looking for a Corporate Development Counsel to manage legal aspects of M&A and strategic investment activities.Key ResponsibilitiesStructure, draft, and negotiate transaction documents for acquisitions and investmentsLead the legal due diligence process and summarize findings for stakeholdersServe as the primary legal advisor to the Corporate Development team and manage outside counselRequired QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with active bar membershipAt least 4 years of relevant legal experience focused on M&AExperience in drafting and negotiating complex transaction agreementsStrong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and securities lawPreferred experience at a law firm in M&A/Corporate practice or in-house at a technology company
