Scope & Responsibilities: The Watkins-Logan Texas State Veterans Home is a 100-bed, pod-style skilled nursing facility located in Tyler, TX. The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for direction of the day-to-day functions of the VA facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to residents at all times.

Key Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field. Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in this state. Three (3) years' experience in health care administration, or a combination of experience, education and training which would provide knowledge required by this position. Experience as Licensed Administrator in a Skilled Nursing/Longterm Care nursing home.
