With more than 45 offices across US and Canada, they serve multiple industries including Power Delivery, Power Generation, Renewables and Storage, Food and Beverage, Government, Oil/Gas and Petrochemical, Campus Energy and Agribusiness.Roles and Responsibilities The qualified candidate should be familiar with the design and operation of utility electrical systems which they can apply their knowledge for developing new designsThe ability to apply engineering calculations to various project challenges to develop the most complete and competent designPerform quality reviews of project deliverablesRequired Education/Experience A Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably a BSEE, BSEET, BSCE, or BSMEKnowledge of the design and operation of overhead and underground distribution lines (4 kV through 35 kV)Experience with utility standards, joint facilities design, compatible units, and construction package developmentFamiliarity with distribution design software, both overhead and underground, the National Electric Safety Code, and utility best practicesMust be able to successfully pass client's background screening processMust have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordDesired Education/Experience A BSEE or BSEET degree, from an ABET accredited university, preferably with a power optionEngineer in Training certificate (EIT)Prior utility experienceExposure to utility Geographical Information Systems (GIS); GE Smallworld, ArcFM, DDS, etc.Exposure to Work Management programs such as STORMS and WMISStrong command of the English language and possess good written and oral communications skillsTravel should be expected#J-18808-Ljbffr
