Job Description BioLife Plasma Services operates plasma donation centers and supports product development. In this role you will report to the Plasma Center Manager and, under the guidance of the Center Physician, support plasma center operations by determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable test results. You will ensure compliance with plasma collection regulations and provide center‑level support for environmental, health and safety (EHS) matters.How you will contribute Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, AIDS education, self‑exclusion, medical interview, physical examination, blood testing and serological electrophoresis review.Evaluate donor reactions and, when necessary, follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including developing stand‑by orders and arranging transport to emergency care.Refer medical or technical issues to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs and provide guidance on donor safety and eligibility.Support the hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.Manage employee incidents and coordinate evaluations with occupational health, following EHS guidance.Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized, supporting investigations of local pandemic threats.Qualifications High‑school diploma or equivalent, or a graduating nursing program with state requirements.Current state license or certification as EMT‑Paramedic or equivalent.Current CPR and AED certification.State‑required basic IV therapy certification.Completion of FDA‑approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.At least two years' experience in a clinical or hospital setting.Benefits U.S. based employees may be eligible for short‑term incentives, medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, well‑being benefits, sick time, and paid vacation.
