Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.Assists with Federal Highway Administration and departmental reviews of construction records and may act as liaison with this agency.Monitors material testing requirements, results and reports for compliance with specifications and standards.Participates in meetings regarding contract administration.Performs and reviews construction records audits and coordinates with area engineers on monthly and final estimates, change orders, supplemental agreements and work orders.Trains less experienced recordkeepers and records auditors.Verifies contractors' compliance with federal requirements for EEO and on-the-job training, Disadvantaged Business.Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.Minimum QualificationsEducation: High School Grad or Equivalent in general high school studies.Licenses and CertificationsValid driver's license at tie of application.
